When Everything Goes Wrong… Look for Three Things That Went Right
Ever had one of those days? The kind where your coffee goes cold before you drink it, your inbox multiplies like rabbits, and you somehow end up in a meeting that could have been an email?
So have I.🫣
On days like this, our brains love to focus on everything that went wrong. It’s like they have a built-in drama channel, running on a 24/7 loop. But here’s the trick: we can change the channel.
Before the day is done, take a breath and list three good things—no matter how small.
For example, today:
found a matching pair of socks. (It’s the little victories.)
Nobody cried at work. (Including —big win.)
resisted the urge to send an email that started with "Per my last email..." (Personal growth.)
Research shows that focusing on small positives helps rewire our brains for gratitude, even on the toughest days. So, what’s your three? Drop them below—I promise, there’s something worth celebrating.
