Health and Social Care professionals often enter the field with compassion, purpose and a genuine desire to help. But navigating a system full of targets, cuts, paperwork and pressure can chip away at the very values that brought you here.
Staying connected to your purpose, while protecting your peace, is a skill worth developing.
Tips to stay grounded in the storm:
Reconnect with your ‘why’ regularly, write it down if needed.
Speak up when something feels wrong, even quietly.
Find colleagues who remind you what really matters.
Create personal boundaries that help you feel in control.
Give yourself permission to rest without guilt.
Make Your Self-care Inevitable.
